A few years ago, teamtechnik made the decision to accelerate the development of its international business by establishing globally distributed development and production sites. For this purpose, the IT infrastructure, which consisted of a large number of non-integrated databases and applications, had to be completely renewed. Parallel to the ERP solution PSIpenta, CIM Database was implemented as a company-wide PLM backbone. The close integration of the commercial ERP and technical/creative PLM worlds meant that project and development times were considerably reduced, and business processes were significantly accelerated overall.
