Well-equipped for new requirements with CIM Database PLM
With around 5,500 employees and 1.8 billion euros in sales, SIG Combibloc is a global player with a presence in 68 countries. The company develops and manufactures aseptic packaging and filling systems for solid and liquid foods.
Almost two years ago, SIG replaced its previous CAD/PDM combination and has since been using CIM Database PLM with integration to SAP, SolidWorks and EPLAN as the leading system for master data management and various core processes.
In this article, you can read why Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) has such a high priority for the company, how the PLM environment was designed and what benefits SIG derives from end-to-end change management and the other CIM Database applications.
