Installation and maintenance work pose significant challenges for wind turbine operators. These tasks must impact energy output as little as possible, requiring careful planning. In the WindIO project, a research team led by the University of Bremen explored how CONTACT Elements for IoT can support the management of operational data, weather conditions at wind turbine sites, and turbine architecture.
