In this article, Dr. Nicole Göckel presents various strategies that companies can use to lower the CO₂ footprint of their production. Synergies arise particularly when production data is linked with energy data and enriched with AI-based forecasts. In a project where CONTACT Elements for IoT was used as the energy management system, this enabled savings of 23%.
