The exchange of information and data plays an important role in the daily work of every employee. It is no trivial task to always find the right information at any time and in the current status. This white paper first explains the requirements for document management systems (DMS) - also from a regulatory point of view - and then uses PLM-integrated DMS systems to demonstrate the advantages of integrating a DMS into the product creation process.
