thyssenkrupp Springs & Stabilizers controls worldwide development projects with CIM Database PLM

thyssenkrupp Springs & Stabilizers stands for innovation and high-tech in automotive technology worldwide. The partner of the automotive industry has now opted for CIM Database. The company thus ensures more efficient processes along its global development projects according to the principle of the single source of truth and benefits from the greatest possible flexibility for future requirements.

The manufacturer of springs and stabilisers for the entire suspension spectrum has made it its business to ensure comfort and safety in vehicles. The great dynamism of the automotive industry presents the globally active group of companies with the challenge of being able to react quickly to changes and to guarantee the high safety and quality requirements in the face of growing complexity. For this purpose, a powerful development platform is indispensable that enables more efficient processes along the entire product creation process.

When selecting a suitable software solution, the open CONTACT Elements platform convinced not only with its functional performance, but also with its high flexibility to easily expand applications as needed. “In addition to the actual functional performance, a fast adaptability of the platform represented one of the essential decision criteria for us. Thanks to the many years of positive experience of our sister companies with the Elements platform, we decided on CONTACT Software as our partner”, explains project manager Patrick Kraus from thyssenkrupp Springs & Stabilizers.

With the use of CIM Database PLM and the fully integrated project management modules, thyssenkrupp Springs & Stabilizers will accelerate the process landscape in the future and improve collaboration in the globally distributed development projects. After the final expansion stage, a total of around 450 users will use CONTACT's PLM software for their daily work at the locations in Europe, Mexico, Brazil and China.
