Hannover Messe 2023: CONTACT Research on stage
With contributions to the conference program of the world’s largest industrial trade fair, CONTACT Software demonstrates how companies can utilize innovative Industry 4.0 applications to act more sustainably, efficiently, and profitably.
Climate change, supply bottlenecks, energy costs, and a shortage of skilled workers are high-priority topics for many companies. The Hannover Messe addresses these challenges with a program that is brought to life by national and international experts from industry, research, and science.
On several stages, visitors can learn about and discuss current developments in the areas of Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence (AI), energy management, CO2-neutral production, and hydrogen and fuel cells. At the trade fair, CONTACT Research will show results from various research projects. The presentations will be streamed live and translated simultaneously.
The Energy 4.0 Conference Stage in hall 12, booth D35, features innovative solutions that contribute to decarbonization and increase the energy efficiency of industrial processes. CONTACT’s presentation Smart Production and its Contribution to the Internet of Energy (April 21, 2:45 pm) highlights how IoT-based energy monitoring helps to analyze energy consumption and identify optimization potential. These insights enable companies to produce more economically and sustainably.
The Tech Transfer Conference Stage in hall 2, booth A60, will focus on pioneering ideas and the latest projects in industrial research. In their presentation Challenges and Fields of Action for the Green Transformation of the Industry (April 21, 3:15 pm), CONTACT Research and the Fraunhofer IPK highlight digital technologies that help fulfill the versatile requirements for sustainable products and resource-efficient processes.
This will be followed by a contribution on the Asset Administration Shell (April 21, 3:40 pm) at the same stage, where CONTACT Research will present an exchange method for sub-models of the digital twin. The solution was developed with partners from mechanical engineering and automation technology as part of the AASHub project.
At the OWL joint booth D27 in hall 7, CONTACT Software will demonstrate some first applications that illustrate the potential of the AAS. The software provider will showcase the entire PLM & IoT solution portfolio of its open low-code platform CONTACT Elements at its main booth H20 in hall 17.
